Thanks for this. True, the absence of outer sound is helpful in finding the inner quiet, thus the venerable practice of silent meditation. But what is being pointed to here is our natural occurring and immutable inner silence that is free of mental construct and can be found, if one is tuned into it, in the middle of Times Square on New Year's.
