It was a breezy, sun-filled afternoon with big clouds rolling in over the mountains. As I picked up my tools from work, there was a compelling silence inside and out that stopped me for a moment, tools in hand, to observe the clouds and mountains, the big oaks moving in the breeze, the happy play of sunshine and shadows. The whole world was saying hello, and a lovingness came from nowhere. It was clear that the trees and clouds, sunshine and shadows, indeed, life itself, are all beyond understanding. And yet, what is it in us that knows, in this silent presence, that there is nothing else to know?

I love the drawing. It's so alive!
Mike, "life itself, are all beyond understanding. And yet, what is it in us that knows, in this silent presence, that there is nothing else to know?" captures my experience and perspective perfectly and beautifully. Thank you. Noel
